short film, 11’ – 2025
On the beautiful landscapes of Monte Grappa, an ancient ritual unfolds. The documentary follows the daily life of a shepherd and his flocks, revealing a deep connection with nature that seems to be lost in modern times. The film captures the essence of a way of life that connects together human and animal. It tells the story of an ancient tradition that is slowly disappearing, making way for a world increasingly dominated by technology and indifference. We have to recreate and (re)find the bond between us and non-human lives, and for doing this we have to take their point of view, we have to empathize with them like children do.

The idea of this project was born during my summers in the mountains.
In a little village in Asiago Plateau a silent life lives. People, animals and plants live this simple and pure life in a place of unique beauty where the time seems to stand still.
This short wins the second prize at Valsusa Film fest.
